Dog Story: Hoss is ready for a new home and he is hoping it is you!! He is about 18 months old and is a beautiful liver and white boy, docked tail, no dew claws and just as friendly as can be. Now I bet your wondering how did this handsome boy come into rescue. Hoss was a victim of circumstances and he is an owner surrender, the house they were renting was foreclosed on and with no advanced warning was forced to move suddenly. What a shame it was and the best choice was made for Hoss, to turn him over to us, leaving behind a broken hearted owner. He is crate trained, house trained, rides quiet in the car, gives his paw, sits when told, walks nicely on a leash. Yes he had lots of training, lots of love, and needs someone to continue that with him. He is ok around cats, has met some since arriving here at his foster home. The furniture is not allowed and he grew up with this not just a rule in his foster home. He is also good around wheel chairs and assisted walking devices. He will gently stand up to see you and it is not one of those knock you down sort of jumps. It was something he was taught to do to be able to kiss his prior owner. Hoss is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, has a microchip, and is heartworm negative, also is on monthly prevention. Hoss loves people, kids, babies, you name it, was well socialized, and is a good boy in the house. Is not destructive on the kids toys he does know the difference on which toys belong to whom. We are more than willing to answer any additional questions on Hoss and would love to see some adoption applications come in soon. Hoss is an owner surrender due to unfortunate circumstances the owner had with his landlord.
