Adopted!!!
Hoss is a sweet boy who is looking for a home where he can
be included in lots of activities and be close to his humans. He has settled in
with the resident Britt and is working on the common commands. Hoss
really is a work in progress. He will require
a patient, understanding family who will work with him.He can be reactive and we will not place him in
a family with small children. Hoss takes time to
warm up to new situations. When he
first entered rescue, he was a considerable flight risk.He would bolt out of fear. That has
dramatically improved, but anyone needs to be prepared to manage his
safety. He will need a very secure physical
fence. Hoss does have a quiet side and enjoys
playing with his toys and curling up on your feet. This boy needs be included in an active family’s day to day
life.He HATES the crate.Left alone for long hours will result in a
wild man with excess energy to burn. No long distance or sight unseen
adoptions for Hoss.We feel it is
important that all family members (human and canine) meet to assure that we
have a good fit.Hoss is a sweet dog and a wonderful Brit who is anxious for
your forever love and companionship. If you’re willing to take time to
acclimate him, Hoss may be the dog for you. Interested in learning more about
this wonderful guy? Complete the adoption applicationHoss is an owner surrender. This boy had a rocky start in life, he was one of several Britts who
were living in sad conditions with little or no socialization. He was adopted from those conditions to a
family that was not prepared for his needs.ABR was contacted and we took Hoss into our foster care. Our boy is neutered, is current on all vaccinations, Heart
Worm negative and on Heart Worm Preventative. He is also microchipped. Now all
he needs is wonderful forever home to call his own.
