Dog Story: OK- so I am just about the most beautiful liver and white Brittany you have ever, ever seen!! BUT- wait right there! You need to hear more about me before you fall over backwards in love with me. I am young, so don’t blame me for being so enthusiastic about life, and needing some guidance and obedience work. I am willing to learn but in the meantime, here is what my foster parents have to say about me. One thing about Holly is how social and playful she is- just lots of fun and wants to play and play, so a younger and playful canine companion would be a good fit for her. Holly can be a mischievous young one. She loves to play with, and chew on hard rubber toys and bones. She may find interest in inappropriate items in the household if she is not corrected for any negative behavior. Holly is also very birdie and loves to be outside, where it is all about the birds and squirrels, etc. She is extremely alert and inquisitive. She is an athlete who can play with friendly dogs twice her weight. Holly will need a secure, dog-proof fence. The vet has found Holly to be fit and healthy at 30 lbs. We would love to find a home for Holly where she is not crated all day, with at least one adult being home for a good part of the day, or working from home. Please submit an adoption application if you are interested in hearing more about Holly Holly was picked up as a stray and brought to the Humane Society in Winston-Salem, NC. They were overcrowded but they gave her extra days to see if someone would come to claim her. That did not happen though, and by taking Holly into ABR ASAP, another spot was open for another dog in need.
