Dog Story: Hello, My name is Hershey. My foster family tells me that I am a relatively uncommon Tri-Color, AKC Certified Brittany. I was named Hershey because I am so sweet and a perfect blend of White, Dark, and Milk Chocolate! I am healthy, have had all my vaccines, a microchip, neutered (whatever that is!) I am 13 months old, I am really smart, and I am still learning. I love to go for walks and runs on a leash, but I still get excited and pull a little too hard. When you come home, I am so happy to see you that sometimes I forget not to jump up on you. I am doing a good job of sitting, so I can get a treat or make it easy to put on my leash to go for a walk. I never slept in a crate before, but I find it is a comforting place for me to sleep when I get kicked off the bed at night. I am getting better at recognizing my name and coming when called the first time, but sometimes i get sidetracked by my nose and I take my time. And I love to play! I love kids or other dogs, it doesn’t matter. Tug of war, tag, or just wrestling around. I love it all. I went swimming for the first time and I love the water! My foster family says I am a natural water dog! Please call my foster family if you have questions and please come and visit me. As long as I can stay active and have fun, and get to go on walks and runs, I will be happy, I will continue to learn, and will be a great companion for my new family!
