If you are looking for a handsome, loving, well-mannered, all-around just about perfect dog, then Harley is your guy. He may take a few days to shed his shyness, but when he does, look out! He will melt into your arms. But don’t let that fool you.he also loves to run and play, and chase squirrels! In fact, he is pretty focused on those ubiquitous critters during our walks, but we are working on the leash training, as well as basic commands. Harley is a beautiful Brittany, very athletic and lean. He will need daily exercise in large quantities in a safe, enclosed environment. He has done well at the dog park but he definitely needs his time to get comfortable with new situations. He is certain to make a good hunter, and would do best with one or two other dogs. We do not have young children but he has met a few on our walks and is very courteous toward them. He is very gentle at home and has never shown the slightest bit of aggression toward our older Britt, or the cat (only curiosity!) In short, Harley is pure joy and will certainly earn his keep in the family with his mild manners and loving affection toward his humans. Harley came from a loving home where he lived with 7 other Brits, some of whom were his offspring. He was the stud and sired several litters. The owners unfortunately came upon difficult times and needed to move to a smaller home and could not keep all 8 dogs. He is up to date with all vaccinations, and is now neutered. He is a healthy, happy Brit and has no known medical issues.
