Gus is hands down one of the most gentle dogs I’ve ever fostered.
He’s very shy when you first meet him, but when he opens up to you, your heart
will melt.Gus is an 11 year old, 40lb,neutered male and has
spent most of his life living outdoors. This has made potty training a bit
difficult, but he does try and tell us when he needs to go outside. He has
spondylosis (old age wear and tear of his vertebrae) so he cannot jump on
couches or beds, we would recommend against stairs, and he is slow getting up,
but he has a pair of rubber shoes that help him and he doesn’t seem to mind. He
is up to date on vetting and his recent blood work came back all clear. If you squat down and put your arms out like a hug he will
run to you like he doesn’t know he has those problems and plop right into you.
He spends most of his day snoozing and really enjoys getting his ears rubbed.
He truly is the sweetest boy.Gus is good with dogs, cats, children, and even chickens!
Doesn’t seem to have any prey drive. Please submit an adoption application if you are interested in more information about this sweet boy. He is waiting for you!
