Gunner came into ABR when his mom was in hospice care and his dad had passed just a few years prior. So this sweet boy has had a rough few years and has been missing his people. 

He had a great life with his folks, hunting, walks and being the center of their world.  He is a sweet fella who has adapted nicely to foster care.  He is used to being an only dog but does tolerate the other pups in the house. He just isn’t big on playing with them.

He likes his quiet time, stretched on the couch or laying on the floor by your feet. He prefers to be with his humans, overseeing daily life. He loves car rides to the post office & bank or just cruising around town. He walks great on the leash and can keep pace for a slow walker or the fast-paced walker, he likes his outside time smelling the scents in the air.  

His family packed up his gear, so he comes complete with bed, leashes, bowls, toys, coats for rain and cold, and of course bones to chew on. He is used to having a human around but is crate trained for times when alone. 

His favorite thing is snuggles, when relaxing he must have a paw on his human. He is turning 10 shortly and is looking for his forever home to enjoy his retirement with a human who is doing the same, morning and evening walks around town, ice cream stops, and just relaxing on the porch watching the world go by.   He is patiently awaiting his forever home!
