Meet Gunnar, or as he prefers, Gunnie. He just turned 6 and is a very handsome black and white French Brittany, about 40 lbs of sweetness and energy. He has had training and is housebroken, and crate trained. He will sleep fine in a crate but prefers to cuddle on the sofa, your lap, or on the bed with you. Gunnar comes with his AKC papers. Gunnie has already had two homes so we are looking for a home that will truly be his forever home. He needs someone who is home with him all day as he does not like to be left alone for long periods of time (short periods are ok). He needs someone who can be firm and continue to work with him on leash manners and his barking. He bonds to his humans quickly and is very eager to please. He is protective of his toys (he loves chew toys and will catch things thrown to him) and can be food protective but is very receptive to being corrected. Gunnie gets along fine with his brit foster brother, they love chasing the squirrels together), he has lived with children, cats and small dogs and should be fine with slow introductions and consistent training, but will probably not do well with large or strongly alpha dogs. He would be best with older children as he is a typical young energetic and bouncy brit boy. This sweet boy deserves a good, loving home.
