Granger is snuggly, cuddly couch potato who loves to give puppy kisses. He is a champion supervisor who very much keeps track of his people. So far, he is very quiet boy who barks only to alert you to disturbances in the force’. This sweetie is a fast learner. We are working on leash manners and his recall. He is actually pretty good on a leash. Does not understand heel, he is a Britt you know. We are testing his recall and he seems to be pretty responsive. Also, he is learning to sit before meals are served. Such a good student! Although we were told he was crate trained, Granger HATES the crate. Thus far, our guy has been totally trustworthy in the house. He has minimal exposure to cats, but seems to ignore them. Granger will do best with a family who will include him as part of the family. A family who has the time and consistency to continue develop his social skills and become a fabulous, beloved family member. Due to his past escape artist tendencies we are requiring a fence for him. No long distance or sight unseen adoptions for Granger. We feel it is important that all family members (human and canine) meet to assure that we have a good fit. Granger is a sweet dog and a wonderful Brit who is anxious for your forever love and companionship. If you would like to meet this wonderful guy complete the adoption application Granger was an owner surrender to ABR. He and his house mate were constantly escaping the yard. His owner got tired of bailing them out and surrendered them to a shelter. The shelter reached out to ABR and we took him into our foster care program. Our boy is neutered, is current on all vaccinations, Heart Worm negative and on Heart Worm Preventative. He is also microchipped. Now all he needs is wonderful forever home to call his own.
