Dog Story: Hey everybody, I’m Gizmo!! I’m possibly the most energetic, silly, snuggly, and curious Brittany you’ll ever meet (or so my foster Mom says). I’ll be one year old on September 13th and am hoping to celebrate by finding my forever home! My foster Mom says I’m a catch because not only am I adorable, but because I’ve got great manners too! I can sit, lay down, leave it, and even shake (when I feel like it that is). I know the off command to get down, but I need a little more training on that one as I do still tend to jump up when I’m meeting new people, super excited, or when I want to get a sniff or taste of what’s on the kitchen counter. I am full of energy and I love to chew away on my bones, and other toys. I love the dog park and other dogs, so it’d be cool to have a brother or sister, my Brittany foster brother plays with me to tire me out! I like all people, but I do get too excited sometimes and jump, even if it’s a little kid, although I always give kisses too! I’m really hoping to find a family with a great yard, active lifestyle, and one that’s around a lot (I get a little anxious when my people leave). Foster Mom: Gizmo came to the rescue from a truly caring and loving home. His previous owner had him since he was 2 months, and ensured he was always up to date on his medical things, and took him to a basic puppy class where he passed! Weighing in at between 30-35 pounds, he is such a friendly, curious, and silly boy and loves everyone and every dog he meets. He will need some additional training on not jumping up onto people, counters, etc. Gizmo does very well around the house while we are home, but gets anxious when we leave. He is currently crated when nobody is home but with patience and training, we truly think he could be trained/adjusted into not having to be crated. He does well walking on a leash and pulls very lightly. Gizmo has been such an amazing addition to our house in the time that we have fostered him, it’ll be a bittersweet day to see this little man go, but we can’t wait for him to find his forever home! If you are interested in Gizmo, please submit an adoption application Please no emails or phone calls before submitting an application. History: Gizmo came to the rescue from a truly caring and loving home. His previous owner had him since he was 2 months, and ensured he was always up to date on his medical things, and took him to a basic puppy class where he passed! His original owner passed along all his favorite toys, leash, and collar, which we are happy to pass along to his forever home as well. **if you’d like to see more pictures of gizmo and his foster brother, check out #fosterdoggizmo on Instagram!**
