Dog Story: Hi! My name is Ginger and I am looking for my forever family. I am hoping to find an active, playful, loving and patient family. I have a lot of energy, but if given the proper exercise I settle down quite quickly. I love to play with my canine foster siblings and with all of the dogs at doggy daycare, I enjoy going for walks, I really like playing with my plush toys either with my foster parents or by myself, I’m good at sitting and waiting for my food, I know basic obedience, I think riding in the car is great and I’m learning how to cuddle. I also help my foster parents to get up on time in the morning; as soon as I hear the alarm clock I just jump on the bed with my toy and see if they want to play! I do have a couple quirks I really don’t have any interest in hunting and I am fearful when meeting strangers Before coming to rescue I had a very hard life, but I’m learning to trust both humans. I’m sure I would make a great Brittany companion, so if you are interested in adopting me please complete an adoption application and mention Ginger 4446. Hi! Foster mom here Ginger came to us from animal control She had been abused, starved and abandoned she has healed from her surgery that fixed her broken femur. The veterinarians said the break in her leg was a direct result of abuse. Because of her history which lead her to have a fear of strangers we feel a family with children would not be a good match. Ginger is a very intelligent and energetic little girl who has a lot of love and happiness to share with the right family. Her ideal family will have a physically fenced in yard, the time and willingness to properly train and exercise her and a canine companion to play with. Only local adoption applications will be accepted and no sight unseen adoptions will be entertained.
