Dog Story: Ginger is a very sweet girl who is ready for a home of her own. She enjoys the company of gentle people, other dogs and cats. Ginger is very attached to her foster parents and doesn’t like to let them out of her sight. She is crate trained but will bark a little when left in a room alone in her crate. She enjoys spending time outdoors in a fenced yard as long as she has other dogs or people to keep her company. Her favorite activities include snuggling on the couch, playing chase in the backyard and going for walks. Ginger is 6-7 years old but she acts like a puppy. She is always happy and active and would make a great, loving companion. Ginger is up to date on all vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. She recently went through heartworm treatment and is now heartworm negative. Ginger would do best in a home with older children or with no children. She can be a little ‘snippy’ if someone tries to touch her food while she is eating. Ginger is a Magnolia brittany who was rescued from a hoarding situation. She was kept outdoors with many other dogs but she has adjusted very well to being an inside dog. She is housetrained and is very well mannered. She is a little shy of strangers at first but soon warms up to them.
