Dog Story: Are you a dog whisperer? Georgia is looking for a forever family to whisper in her ear that she is safe and loved. She enjoys snuggling up close and and letting you love on her. But she is a true Brittany at heart and absolutely comes alive watching the squirrels and the birds outside. She loves sitting out there for hours, watching and stalking them, so a home with a fenced in yard is a must. She loves her foster family, young and old, and likes being part of the dog pack as well. Another furry friend in the house is also essential as we have learned that she suffers from separation anxiety if left alone in the house without another dog friend to calm her. As a result, it would be best for her to go to a family that isn’t gone all day, every day. She’s gentle and meek with kids, in fact, we think she really enjoys having a big family around. Georgia is working on crate training and doggy manners in the house. Check out her own Georgia video to see her in action. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBBskH2lV6Yandfeature=youtu.be History: Georgia was left at a Georgia animal shelter by her owner with no name or age. She had obviously had several litters of puppies and was probably used for breeding. We know that she had little to no human socialization and was more than likely kept in a kennel all of her life. It takes a bit to gain her trust, but when you do she is so happy to have found a friend. She is in great health now and has slimmed down and gotten really trim with having the freedom to run and take walks. The vet thinks she is around 5-6 years old.
