4/3/2026 UPDATE Spring has finally sprung here in NJ so in addition to our daily walks around the neighborhood we have been going to the park. Love all these new adventures and smells, oh and I love the water also. My foster sister says soon we will be able to take rides on the boat too! So looking forward to all my new adventures until I find my forever home! Could that be you???
Gabby here and this week is my birthday I will be 7 years young! You can bet we will be celebrating my birthday in true Brittany fashion with all my favorite things. Treats, belly rubs, yard time, some walkies and you guessed it some snuggle time!!!
My foster mom says I am a super special girl, smart, sweet and spirited. I am housebroken, great with other dogs and am up for being your constant companion loving car rides and I walk beautifully on leash. I do prefer to be with my humans and not left alone so if you are a remote worker or retired I am your girl.
My foster mom works from home but I am also fine when she needs to leave and do errands. I patiently wait near the door to greet her and bring her a toy when she returns.
I would have never dreamed that I would be looking for a new home but when life gives you lemons you make lemonade! Since I am super smart I have made an easy transition to my foster home navigating the house, steps and doggie door with ease.
So you may be wondering why this is so AMAZING well you see I recently went blind but my super smart spider senses have me navigating the world like a super trooper. So don’t let my being blind deter you one bit as it has not dimmed my spirit. In fact it is ALWAYS sunny in my world!!!
I will need a physically fenced yard to keep me safe. I can navigate steps (there are 4 here at my foster home) all by myself but my foster home feels a one story home would be best for me as a steep staircase may be a bit tricky. A home with NO cats as they have proven too much sensory overload for me.
This week I saw an eye specialist my eye pressure is normal and they say I lost my vision from SARDS or neurological disease but otherwise my eyes are beautiful they just don’t see anymore.
So do you think you would like to bring me home and give me a forever home until death do us part? If so fill out our online adoption application and you can come meet me soon! LOVE GABBY
