Dog Story: Gabby is a very sweet, typical young French Brittany pup with lots of energy. At a petite 26 pounds this little girl is constantly on the go! She loves to take long walks and runs on the trails and in our pasture and is curious about everything. Gabby loves to play catch with her favorite stuffed animals and gets along well with the miniature goats and her Britt foster brother. Gabby has some basic training but could use a beginner obedience class with her new family to sharpen her skills. She is housetrained and crate trained and naps quietly in her crate when the family is out. With her eagerness to explore Gabby would often escape out of the fence at her previous home, but she hasn’t tried that here at her foster home as she is always supervised outdoors and having fun with her people. Gabby will need high secure fencing and not to be left unattended outside so she isn’t tempted to get out. Gabby also has a very high prey drive and loves to stalk and point birds, rabbits and squirrels! She greatly enjoys chasing the cats which they do not appreciate so a home without felines will be best. After a full day of exercise Gabby loves to just crawl up in my lap and sleep. Gabby is current on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting a very active and affectionate young Brittany girl, please submit the online adoption application and mention Gabby-4146 before contacting her foster family. : Gabby’s owners relocated and were no longer able to give her the time and exercise she needed to be happy and safe in their home. They contacted ABR to help find Gabby a better fit with a new family.
