If the saying Good things come in small packages is true then I am all that and much much more. I am sweet, petite (just 20 lbs) and full of LOVE, LOVE, LOVE giving butterfly kisses!!!!! So let me tell you a little bit about myself my name is Fred and I am one of the very lucky ones picked up wandering the streets of Spain. I say I am lucky as I got a second chance by going to an overseas ABR foster home until it was my turn to come to the US. I have been in the US just a week now and am making a pretty much flawless transition. I am doing great with the resident Brittany here, she and I love to check out the backyard, play fetch some, and then come inside and play some more. She has been gracious enough to let me help myself to all her toys and she has quite the selection let me tell you! My foster mom has also been a good sport as I love to scatter them throughout the house so there are toys, toys everywhere! When I play with them she says I sound like a rottweiler but it is all in fun! I am doing well with housetraining now that foster mom has my schedule down as I am not one to ask to go out so far. I walk well on harness and am also a good car rider. I have not been around cats or children so those are an unknown for now. I am up for all of life’s adventures but could benefit from some basic obedience as I would definitely follow you right out the door. We are working on that as foster mom and dad say that is not safe. I love my belly rubs and will curl up in the dog bed if you are making dinner or on the computer but at night I am snuggled up tight in the covers with my people. If you would like to come meet me please fill out an adoption application and ask for Fred(a). Update11/9: this sweet girl has stolen our hearts in just the short 4 weeks she has been with us! She has mastered the SIT/STAY command at the door and is fully housebroken. She was fine with the cats at the vets office and did great with a friends son who is 9 reading to her at a childrens reading group! She is patiently awaiting for her forever home, could that be you?
