Adopted!!!
Dog Story:
Our boy Fred just arrived in Rescue. After a few days in foster care, his foster mom reports that he is pure puppy. Fred knows all about running, jumping and playing, and she’s working with him on leash etiquette, house manners, and proper social skills. He loves people and kids and dogsbut we were told by his former owners he likes to chase cats.Fred appears to be housebroken. He doesn’t give a signal but he’s had no accidents. Fred is ahandsome, long leggedorange roan brittany weighing 38 pounds. He’sa bit too big to be a lap dog butdon’t tell Fred that. He’ll try to crawl inyour lap given the chance. Fred will need continued training and discipline in his new home since he is still a puppy. Please call or email about Fred for more info.
After 10 plus days in foster care, Fred is starting to settle in. He likes Garth, the resident cocker spaniel, and engages him in tug of war or any type of game with a dog toy. He’s enjoying many leash walks and although he doesn’t sit and heel, he is learning to walk nicely on lead. Fred’s house manners are coming along but he’ll need continued supervision and training in his new home. He is listening to his foster mom and stops unacceptable behavior when reprimanded.
Fred’s been adopted and he has a Brittany brother Jordan and Brittany sister Maya to play with. Check out the triplets. 🙂
Fred’s owners were dealing with some health issues. His chasing the resident cats was causing stress so they thought it would be best if we could find Fred a new home. Fred’s owners were very caring and they are only trying to do what is best for Fred.
