Dog Story: Fozzie is an adorable tri-colored Brittany with an engaging, effervescent personality. He was born on July 28, 2013 and until coming into rescue had lived his entire life at his breeder’s kennels. He weighs 33 pounds now but the vet thinks he could be upwards of 50 pounds when he is full grown. He is dog socialized so could go to a home with another dog although they would need to meet. He had not been handled much prior to coming into rescue but he warmed up to us quickly. Now one of his jobs is to follow us around the house and supervise all we do. He is curious about things. He should not go to a house with small children because he still jumps and puppy nips when he is excited. He is all puppy and has everything to learn so will need someone willing to train him. He is listed as potty trained but we watch him closely and put him out every hour when he is awake. We have a large fenced yard and he enjoys running in it. He is beautiful to watch. He is active now puppies are but his energy can be redirected to chew toys or other acceptable activities. And every evening after the puppy crazies pass, he likes to curl up at our feet and watch TV. He sleeps on a dog bed in our room. We have had the privilege to have many wonderful Brittanys pass through our doors. This one has promise and potential written in his future. In fact, the crystal ball has this Brittany as a heart dog. Is he yours? If so, please fill out the adoption application and mention Fozzie #4585. History: Fozzie was voluntarily surrendered by a Nebraska breeder who chose not to renew their USDA credentials.
