Dog Story: Hello! I’m Evve! (My name was chosen by the little people in my foster family after their favorite Pokémon character.) I was found in the local kill shelter where I had languished for two weeks, just hoping someone would notice me! One of the local rescues was worried about my fate so they contacted ABR. I am heartworm negative and have been spayed. My foster family says that I have obviously been cared for; they can’t believe that no one is looking for me but I suppose you never know what is going on in people’s lives. I am 60 pounds and the tallest Brittany my foster family has ever seen, plus I sport a beautiful tail. My foster mom tells me that I am a kind and gentle soul. When I first got to my foster home, I was a little nervous; but now I am very engaging, attentive and love spending time with my people. I enjoy romping in the backyard by myself but would really like someone to play with the resident cats and old dog just don’t seem interested in frolicking, not at all and#61516;. (But I plan to continue my efforts to win them over!) I do not chew on things I’m not supposed to, haven’t shown any interest in running off, and I walk well on a leash. My foster mom says that I am a treasure and will settle easily into my forever home – once you find me. Evve is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, heartworm negative and on preventative. If you’d enjoy sharing your home with this happy, loving girl, please complete an adoption application and mention ABR’s very own Pokémon character, Evve Evve was rescued from a shelter where she was turned in as a stray.
