Dog Story:
Einstein is a sweet young boy and is full of energy. He loves his new foster brother and sister and plays well with them. He eats next to the other dogs and has no issues with food guarding. He heels very well and appears to have had formal obedience. He understands basic commands like sit, stay and here although he comes when he wants 🙂 and could use work on his obedience.
When everyone is done playing he likes to lay near foster mom and keep an eye on what she is doing. He is always curious about what may be on the counter but seems to understand no, leave it. At night Einstein sleeps with the other dogs in foster mom’s bedroom. While I am away at work he crates. He is housebroken and has had no accidents.
Einstein is a high-energy brittany and needs a family who has the same energylevel . Here’s a short video of him in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KByIWRM1dC4
To learn more about Einstein, feel free to contact me or better yet, fill out the adoption application and mention his name and ID#.
VETERINARY REPORT: Einstein is up to date on his vaccines, heartworm negative and on preventive medication. Although he could gain some weight the vet was happy with his health and guesses he is about 2.5 years old. Einstein is scheduled to be neutered on 6/1/2011.
Einstein had a propensity for escaping from his former home and going on adventures. Animal Control picked him up a couple of times. The last time he ran away the humane society attempted to contact his family but they didn’t want him back. Even though he hasn’t tried to escape from his foster home, he will need a secure 5- or 6-foot fence to keep him in. He needs a family who will be patient with his attempts to escape and explore.
