Adopted!!!
Echo is a 7 or 8 year old Brittany “mix” originally from Seoul, Korea. We are not sure how he ended up there, but we know that most people do not have enough space for dogs with is energy level. He’s recently moved to California, dreaming of his forever family here in the States. He is currently in San Francisco and has been enjoying all of the parks and outings that San Francisco has to offer.
Echo is incredibly spry and agile for his age and is often mistaken as a puppy. He is the happiest when he is exploring outside, sniffing everything and chasing birds. As a true scent hound, he has a strong prey drive and can get very focused when he is in the mode – making us wonder if he would respond well to scent training or even recreational hunting. When he is inside, he is a textbook Velcro dog, true to his
Brittany name. He will most likely follow you everywhere and insists on napping by your side. Wherever you are in the house, Echo will be with you.
As he spent a lot of time at a shelter he did not know a lot of commands, but has been responding well to the basic training including recall. He loves treats and is eager to please.
An ideal match for Echo would be a home with a large yard or acreage for him where he has easy access to go out exploring and come inside for naps and snuggles. He does well in the city, but would thrive in an area with a lot of wildlife and space. He doesn’t have any separation anxiety symptoms, but he would much prefer to be surrounded by people all day and witness their sounds and movements through out the day. He tolerates other dogs, but Foster mom has noticed he isn’t a big fan of jumpy puppies and would prefer to be the only dog in the house.
Echo is microchipped, up to date on his vaccines and is ready for his forever home. He has so much to give who deserves to experience unconditional love. Despite having spent most of his life at a long-term shelter, he has the brightest soul Foster mom has ever seen. We are certain that he will be the most genuine and loving companion.
