Do you like fun loving, energetic company? Well I have the dog for you meet Duke. Duke is a 3 year old pup that loves to play, chew on bones, and be rubbed from head to toe. He will sit on your lap and roll over to have his tummy rubbed. Duke has only been with me for 4 weeks now but he knows quite a bit. Duke can sit, stay, lay down and does well on a leash. He has was never an indoor dog but has adjusted well. Duke is very smart and can learn new tricks in just a few days with time and energy. He was originally trained to hunt but I found out that he does not like gun shots. Duke loves to be outside but he needs the human connection to keep up his training. Duke would do well by himself or with other dogs. He does demand attention and can be territorial with other dogs. Since he was neutered he has done less marking (one incident in 2 weeks) and his energy level has lessened. Duke’s name was Houdini but he never responded to it. He has AKC paperwork and is owner surrendered. I only know that he was from Oklahoma and was going to be shot because he was stupid. I know differently he is very intelligent with some time and patience will be a great companion. Duke is up to date on his shots, neutered, is on heartguard and flea and tick prevention.
