Adopted!!!

Duke is a very good boy! He is quite mellow for a Brittany puppy. He has adapted quite well to house dog living and enjoys finding the warm sun spots while lounging around the house. He is house broken, doing well on his general obedience, working on recall and recognizing his name.Duke is smart and quick to learn, very curious and extremely sweet. He picks up house rules very fast. He is not destructive and has not been digging. He has not attempted to jump a 4ft fence even when there are birds outside or neighbor dogs pass by.During walks he definitely likes to explore with his nose, hunting and tracking to see what he can find. His nose can take him on quite an excursion so at this time since we are working on his recall a long training lead is suggested. Cats are untested but he does not have much interest in the prairie dogs on our training route, so he’s not displaying an aggressive prey drive. I would describe him as good hunt drive, low prey drive. He seems to be very friendly with all people and other dogs.No incessant barking, he’s a quiet boy but does alert to visitors (very non-aggressively) outside the fence. Mostly he just wants to meet them and their pups.No food aggression. With consistency in training he will make an excellent dog for someone who loves Brittanys!Duke was a owner surrender.
