Dog Story: Meet sweet Duchess, a very SMART Brittany who loves to be with her people. Now Duchess is timid.but only for a short time. She is just sizing you up! Once that is done, watch out as she will be right by your side. Duchess LOVES to snuggle in your arms while you watch TV. I wouldn’t put it past her that she would do the same at night in bed if you let her. Currently she is crated at night and when we are gone during the day. Duchess is not a high energy Brittany even though I can take her for a 6 mile jog and she loves every minute of it. She is the kind of Brittany that will just do what you want to do and be where you want to be. Duchess doesn’t require a lot of exercise to keep her happy. Duchess also knows the ‘E’ collar and responds very well to it. Her only downside is she sometimes feels she needs to be ‘the boss’ around other dogs and tries to control them which is a no no. We have been working on this with her good results. Her new family should be ones that will continue being the alpha in her life. Duchess’s ideal home would be one that would use her intellengence whether obedience or agility. She craves that one on one with you and will become a very loyal companion to that person.
