Drake is a sweet 10 year old male that has lived with a family who loved him and took great care of him. He is a gentle soul who loves to go on walks, sniffing the great outdoors. He has lots of hiking stamina for a 10 yr old! Inside, he’s a couch potato and has been happy to binge watch Netflix, resting his chin on his foster Mom’s lap:) Drake is gun shy, so actual hunting is not something he would love to do. He is so happy just sniffing around and being your constant companion.

Drake is neutered, and is up to date on all of his shots. He knows sit, stay, laydown, here/come and walks well on a leash. He is friendly with strangers and good with children. He gets along well with other dogs he knows, but isn’t too happy with little yippy dogs or puppies. Drake rides well in a car, but he does need to be helped getting in.

Drake is good with other dogs who would be aligned with his energy level. He is not patient with little high energy dogs or puppies. He is good with children as demonstrated by his docile behavior with his foster Mom’s grandchildren.
