Dog Story: Dixie is a sweet snuggly girl who wants to please. She follows foster mom around all day and is very friendly. As a young Brittany pup Dixie has a lot of learning to do but listens well, is housetrained and crate trained and learned how to use our doggy door very quickly. We are working on simple obedience commands and staying off the counter. Dixie does like to steal stuffed animals, socks and wooden toys and stash them to protect her prizes! Dixie is great with kids and loves to be petted by the grandchildren in the house. She gets along well with her canine foster siblings and has plenty of puppy energy. She requires daily exercise and supervision and will make a wonderful pet. Dixie is spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventive and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting please submit the onlineadoption application and mention Dixie-4422, then contact her foster family. Dixie arrived as a stray at a local shelter and no one came to claim her.
