Dog Story: Meet Dempzi! You might notice that Dempzi looks a little different from the full blooded Brittanys here with his green eyes and long tail. Our vet thinks he is half Brittany, half Lab and if you’re wondering, he will be a big boy! He has the green eyes and head of a lab with expressive Brittany eyebrows. His trunk is narrow and covered with liver spots like a Brittany, and he has a long Brittany tail (if you’ve ever seen one not docked!) We estimate he will be about 50lb fully grown. Dempzi was taken to a shelter after one short month of living with his family that did not have time to devote to a playful puppy. Now that he is with his foster home, he is mastering house training and already knows how to sit, lay down, and shake. We think Dempzi would do best in a home with one or more dogs whose lead he can follow. He loves to wrestle and play tug of war with his foster siblings and enjoys fetch.
