Adopted!!!
Dog Story:
My name is David (pronounced Dah—veed) and I’ve come all the way from Spain to find my forever home (along with my brother Ben). I’m loving my morning and evening walks, particularly the night time walks when I can really explore. I love rolling in the grass especially after it rains it feels so goooood! One thing to know about me is that I’m really afraid of men because, . . . well I didn’t have such a good experience with them back in Spain. My foster dad has been super patient with this and I’m getting less afraid of him a bit more each day. I am still a little scared to come out of my crate unless we’re going to play in the back yard then I’m all about it! I’m looking for a forever mom (family) who is willing to be patient, friendly and consistent with me so I can continue to thrive.

Ben and David are rescues from Spain. We do not know anything about their background, but both were very scared when they came into rescue and rely on each other for comfort.
Update 7-13-19
David continues to grow and thrive, but is still struggling a bit to eat all of his food at times. He has gained weight and grown, but could use a few more pounds on him to bring him up to appropriate weight levels.
Also, he’s likes to play with all the dogs of the house (i.e. Ages are 10 1/2 months old, 3 yr. old, and 7 1/2 year old) particularly in the morning after they eat and before the morning walk. At times he lingers behind to observe rather than join the crazy chaos of dog tug of war with the toys. David enjoys playing, but he tends to be a bit rougher in play and sometimes needs to have the energy diverted to playing outside where all the dogs can rip and run. Hands down, David’s favorite place to be is outside playing and hanging out in the yard. He especially likes to run and roll around in the yard.
David still has moments of panic and tends to tear out of the room when startled but is working so a great forever home with adults or teens would be ideal for him. Please consider opening your hearts and mind to this puppy who needs your love.
