Dog Story: As you can tell I am not 100% Brittany on the outside. Inside I am just as lovable and sweet as a Brittany. Due to my coat foster mom thinks I have some lab but not sure what else. I came into ABR thru a Animal Control facility in Bastrop Texas where I was found as a stray. The facility was getting overcrowded which meant my time there was about to expire. Foster mom decided I was close enough to a Britt to save me. At my foster home I get to run and play with 5 other Britts and I LOVE playing with all of them. I prefer playing with the ones that can hold their own as I play pretty hard. Seeing that I am still a pup and learning the ropes I catch on pretty quickly when foster mom or one of the other dogs tell me to stop or play nice. Foster mom also takes me to a dog park where I get to run and play with all types and sizes of dogs. Foster mom says I am doing really well with new dogs and I listen to her most of the time. Foster mom took me for a walk with a leash and I think she really liked it. She stated I did really well on the leash and thinks someone taught me to sit prior to getting the collar on. On the weekends we go to the lake where I love to swim and chase birds. The car rides do not bother me at all, in fact, I jump up whenever foster mom opens the door as I am always ready to go. The other day we went to the vet where I had some folks look me over pretty good. They gave me my vaccination, microchipped me and determined that I have already been spayed. They also tested me for heartworms (negative) and foster mom has me on preventative. The only issue is my weight. I weighed 50 pounds so foster mom has me on a diet as she would like to see me around 42 to 45 pounds. My perfect forever home would have another young energetic dog for me to play with to help burn my energy and keep my weight down. If you are interested please fill out an adoption application Daisy was rescued from Animal Control where she was turned in as a stray.
