Introducing Daisy, a one of a kind crazy girl who is like Flo Jo on the track. Daisy LOVES TO RUN and she will do it no matter how hot or cold it is outside. It’s her passion, bottom line. This is a typical day for Daisy. When she gets up, she heads out side, flies off the deck and makes a complete lap or two of our acreage in under a minute. Daisy then comes in for breakfast and takes a nap before we get up to go to work. Daisy then goes out and runs a couple more laps, waking up the birds so they will fly and she can run even more! During the day, Daisy will crate nicely for you. Before the sun sets, she is outside once again running like a cheetah around the acreage chasing whatever gives her a reason to chase. Daisy does have a beautiful point and who knows, with a lot of work she could be an excellent bird dog OR.we could see her in agility because of her speed and maneuvers! Daisy at one point was on anxiety meds because when we first took her in, she was everywhere yet nowhere at once. She had so much energy and was never allowed to burn it off. We had to teach her to relax and not be so anxious over every little thing. Daisy’s ideal home would be one with a LARGE FENCED YARD that would give her ample room to run, run, RUN! It’s her life-line. Another plus would be a playful playmate as she enjoys playing with other dogs as well. Of course a pool for her to cool off in and understanding owners who will accept who she is and build up on those strengths she has. We believe as time goes on, she will become more loving towards her new owners. Would you like a Brittany who is different from the ‘norm’? If so, please fill out the adoption application and mention her name and ID #. We would love to talk to you about her. Daisy is up to date on her vaccines, heartworm negative and on preventive. Daisy came to us from Indiana. Her owner kept her in an outdoor kennel 24/7. Her only form of ‘release’ from anxiety was to run up and down the run barking at the cars or anything that moved. After she came in, she was tested positive for heartworm and has been treated and is free now of the disease. Can you put her back on the pending page.Yes, my sweet Daisy NOW has Hepatitis.or liver malfunction levels are off so she is on 6 weeks of antibiotics, then retested and if all good THEN she can get her teeth cleaned and go to her forever home!
