Introducing Copper: sweet, smart and so willing to please. He travels well and jumps right in on his way to each new adventure. He knows many commands, has no issues with this kennel, snuggles like a fiend and has great listening ears. He has learned our in-ground fencing in 48 hours. He has found a groove with our routine and family chaos. He was the hit of a recent graduation party, soaking up all the attention and pets.
Copper is still a bit nervous about meeting new dogs, but with each trip to the dog park he relaxes. He seemed not to know play etiquette, but our young female Britt is showing him the ropes. He recently got a clean bill of health from the vet and got to experience (we believe) is first first pup cone.
Copper will do well with a family that has the time and patience to reinforce his training, help him build those social skills and adjust. As this boy has been transplanted once, no long distance or sight unseen adoptions will be considered. You must commit to a meet and greet ( both humans and canines) to assure we have a good match.
Cooper is an owner surrender to rescue due to divorce. Long hours in an apartment were not his friend and his owner wanted better for him. Copper is up to date on vaccinations, Heart worm tested negative, on preventative and micro chipped. He is just looking for a family to call his own. If you are interested in being considered, please complete the adoption application.
