Dog Story: This sweet boy started his life at a breeder where he spent a good portion of his first 12 months kenneled outdoors. He was purchased by a family with a very alpha dog and him and Cooper would get into it with one another. So his owner contacted ABR and he has settled into his foster home and doing great. We found that Cooper is energetic, loves to run and does well in a fenced yard. He is house-broken, crate-trained, neutered, up to date on all of his shots, and micro-chipped. He does well with non-alpha dogs, loves attention and belly rubs, and gets along with cats, too. Cooper’s favorite toys are balls and chew toys. In fact, he’d rather play with his toys than beg for people food. He loves to lay at your feet or play catch, does well walking on a leash, and is learning how to sit. Whether going on walks or curling up on the couch with you, Cooper is a great companion. If Cooper is the boy for you please fill out our online adoption application and note Cooper.
