Adopted!!!
Dog Story:
Hi, I’m Cooper. I’m approximately 8-9 years old and very low key for a Britt. You see, I have heartworms so my energy level is low. I’m currently undergoing treatment to get rid of these nasty creatures.
I love to be with my foster family and I like other dogs and cats. I don’t play much, but give me a treat and I’m all over you! I love cheese and taking walks, did I tell you I walk real well on a leash. My foster mom says I don’t jump and prefer to sleep on the floor. Although, I’m getting used to a doggie bed my foster mom got me and sleep in it sometimes. I’m a little hard of hearing and have a heart murmur and it doesn’t slow me down a bit. I like to ride in the car because I just want to be with my hoomans all the time. I’m a real easy going boy who needs routine and someone to LOVE ME!!!!
Cooper is housebroken, up-to-date on vaccines, currently undergoing heartworm treatment and will still need to be neutered. He will be ready for his forever home at the end of April/beginning of May. If you would like to help ABR defray my vet expenses you can donate to our ‘Buddy Fund’ and note Cooper in South Carolina.
If you would like to add a ‘perfect gentleman’ to your home then I am your man so fill out the online adoption application and mention Cooper!
History:
Cooper was found out in the country on Christmas Eve ridden with fleas and ticks, no collar or microchip. He was discovered to be heartworm positive and completely starved for affection.
