Dog Story: Hello, hello, hello!!! My name is CoCo, CoCo LaRue. I like it said the same way James Bond says his, Bond, James Bond. And it’s with a long LAA. My friends call me LaRuester. It is a very classy name for a puppy who was thrown in a dumpster in Mississippi, pulled out and then taken to a kill shelter. Am I only only one who sees the irony in that? But I digress.a very nice lady came to the shelter on my last day and thought I looked like a Brittany she had as a child so she pulled me out and turned me over to ABR. As you may have guessed from my pictures I was born on the wrong side of the doghouse. Of course Me being from the House of LaRue, I have landed on my feet in Alabama. Right now I’m sharing space with 2 other fosters. Well one is actually a lucky dog who is just stopping over on his way to Florida and his new home. He said to put my best foot forward so I will. I’m a wonderful sweet little girl who does very well in a sky kennel. I haven’t had a single accident in the house. In fact for an older puppy I’m told I’m very well mannered. Like the LaRuester would be anything but! I do so love to follow. I walk on a leash pretty well but the standards here are pretty low! And I love other dogs and don’t mind cats. Which isn’t easy if you’ve ever met the cats who live here. I think I would like children a lot. I’m told I’m a busybody but I prefer to think of it as taking a healthy interest in whatever you are doing. After all if you are doing something fun I want to be a part of it. And if you are doing something bad I want to help! So if you and your loved ones need to be supervised by one classy, sassy gal, I’m the ONE. Please fill out an adoption application and mention me: CoCo. Coco was rescued from a shelter where she was turned in as a stray after being rescued from a dumpster.
