Dog Story: My name is Chevy but you may call me ‘Sir One Lucky Dog’. You see, lucky things have happened to me. First I got dumped out along a busy highway but a very nice lady picked me up because she was afraid I’d get hit by a car. She thought I looked just like a Brittany her daddy had when she was a little girl. Well, we all can see her memory is just a tad off. While my mama was a good girl, my daddy was what we around here call a ‘traveling salesman’. She bought what he was selling and here I am. But I digress. back to the nice lady who took me in. She and her kids were great. The kids even let me play on the trampoline with them. You would think I’d be content there but noooo . I decided to take after my daddy and jump the fence and eat the dog food the neighbor left out for his dog. Nice lady then did me another lucky thing. She was still afraid I’d get into traffic because I obviously didn’t have the sense God gave a goose to stay put with 3 kids and a trampoline: she turned me over the Brittany Rescue and they took me even though my pedigree is a bit fuzzy. So, if you have a nice high fence or like to walk several times a day here I am waiting patiently. Other dogs are a plus. Kids even better. A trampoline with kids would be the ultimate in luck. Oh, and I’m supposed to say I’m about 2 years old, have pretty good manners and know how to ‘sit’ and sometimes I ‘roll over’ but that’s a work in progress. Chevy, Sir One Lucky Dog Chevy is neutered, utd on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative. If you want a sweet companion to play soccer and jump on the trampoline with you, please complete an adoption application and mention Chevy. Chevy was rescued as a stray.
