Chester came in on 9-2-17. He was about to be given to humane society by a young family with 2 small children.They had no time or money for him and Otis. A woman, whose son was giving him up, researched an alternate placement for the dogs and found ABR to surrender them to! I was told by her that they were purchased as pups from a SW MN breeder, whose information they no longer have. He is being evaluated. He has had no vetting, therefore, no rabies, heartworm, etc. He also came in in-tact, an appt. has been made for the neutering. Will also be chipped. All this will be complete in the next 2 weeks. INITIAL: Has ear troubles and sensitive to having ears touched. Will get it checked out by vet. A little on the thin side, less dominate, gets along well with other dogs. No cats around. Leash is a work in progress, but housebroke, good manners, sits and lays! He likes to cuddle with his people, follows them everywhere. Easily goes into crate to rest, but does not like the door closed, sleeps on the floor, free in the house. He is currently placed with a foster to adopt family in MN. (2 of 2 dogs entered)
