Dog Story: Are you looking for a Brittany who is not only handsome and has good listening skills? Then your search is over. Chase is a 13 month old male, already neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on his vaccines, and micro chipped as well. Chase is about 40 pounds and his coat is silky soft, with a slightly curly wave to it. Chase loves the baby that lives at his foster home, as well as children of different ages too, and he gets along well with other dogs. He is good with the males and females, those bigger and smaller than him, not just Brittany’s, other breeds as well. Chase is a go with the flow boy, he is not alpha in any way. Chase listens well he comes when called, sits and stays when told, gives his paw, and from I understand much work was put into obedience with him. I can see that someone did invest a lot of time with him. Chase is also good on a leash, rides nicely in the car, is crate trained, and housetrained. No furniture or people beds for this fella and he is content to lay at your feet on the floor or dog bed. He loves to snuggle and cuddle, will sit in your lap if you let him too. Now I bet your wondering why does Chase need a home? Well that answer is a simple one, owner surrender, with a change in work schedule they made the decision to find him a different home. I have to say I do not know for sure if Chase will hunt, however he does love to watch the birds and squirrels in our yard. He is also not storm phobic nor does he suffer from separation anxiety. When you apply for Chase please add Oklahoma and his ABR number to his adoption application . Thank you for thinking rescue, we certainly do appreciate it. Chase will be at Grapevine Texas Main Street Days May 22 and 23, 2010, stop by to see him. Chase is an owner surrender to Rescue due to change in owner’s work schedule.
