Dog Story: Hi! I’m Chase. I am a sweet and well-mannered 7 year old guy looking for my forever home! When I’m not lounging on my dog bed in the family room, I love being outside. My foster parents have a fenced in yard where I love to chase all the squirrels and all tennis balls that are thrown for me. Sometimes I bark at the neighbor dogs for fun, but my parents are working on keeping my quiet in the mornings. I really love my people, sometimes I get nervous when there is no one around, so I would enjoy life more if I had another dog in the house. When you leave, I will be the first one at the door to greet you back home with my wet nose and wiggly behind. I am house trained and do not need a crate. Actually, crates give me anxiety, so no crates for me please. I have never been on a leash before, so my foster parents are working with me to have better leash manners. Right now I either go for a long walk or a short jog with them to get some of my puppy energy out. I even get to go swimming in the lake! Boy, do I love swimming!! If you adopt me, I will be your loyal companion. I love my people and will follow them around everywhere they let me. Chase was an owner surrender to ABR when his owner who had him since a puppy no longer had the amount of time to give Chase the love and attention he knew he deserved. Chase is up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, and ready for his forever home!!
