Charlotte is a high energy, slim, long legged red head. She is quite the social butterfly who has never met a stranger. Everyone is a potential friend. She loves our Jack Russel boy and will play tug of war with him or us humans. She also loves chasing after toys, balls, sticks. For an energetic girl, Charlotte is so laid back. We can take food and toys away, pull paws, ears and she is unfazed. She sits and waits for food, allows us to groom her and cut nails. Such a tolerant girl.

Charlotte is big on cuddles, and is pretty insistent when she wants attention. She will climb on your lap and close your laptop computer to gain attention. We are working on leash walking, she is pretty good on the other basic commands. And she is not a super vocal gal.

Charlotte needs a family that is willing and able to continue working with her and her high energy needs. She really needs a big fenced yard where she can run her excess energy off. No long distance or sight unseen adoptions will be considered. You must commit to a meet and greet with all family members (humans and canines) to assure we have a good match. This girl is an owner surrender to rescue. Her family surrendered her after she was picked up while running lose by a friend of rescue. She has been spayed, vaccinations updated, Heart worm tested negative and on preventive. Charlotte tested positive for Lyme’s disease and is being treated.
