Looking for a handsome, affectionate, loyal companion? Look no further than Charlie. He’s a healthy 5-year-old who is looking for a home where he can be included in lots of activities and be close to his humans. He has settled in with his resident Britts and has picked up most of the common commands. Like most Brittanys, Charlie wants to please his humans. He can be a little mouthy at times when he’s playing so we don’t recommend him for a family with small children. There are situations where Charlie will become afraid and will require a gentle hand. While he is pretty good on a leash, he is not a fan of the casual street meeting of strangers or their canine companions. Our boy takes time to warm up to new situations. He enjoys playing with his toys and curling up on your feet. This boy needs be included in an active family’s day to day life. Crated for long hours will result in a wild man with excess energy to burn. No long distance or sight unseen adoptions for Charlie. We feel it is important that all family members (human and canine) meet to assure that we have a good fit. He was a shelter rescue so we don’t have a whole lot of history on him. Our boy is neutered, is current on all vaccinations, Heart Worm negative and on Heart Worm Preventative. He is also microchipped. Now all he needs is wonderful forever home to call his own.
