Adopted!!!
Dog Story:
Hello, my name is Charlie and ABR is my guardian angel! You see I was picked up as a stray in SC and landed in a shelter where I was very sick and scared. Some nice people from ABR helped me but I am still sick and have a long recovery ahead of me.
You see I came to rescue underweight, covered in fleas, matted fur and I have a mass on my backside. I am also heartworm positive. I have been taking some medicine for my heartworms and have had my first injection. The treatment made me feel yucky so I just rested up and enjoyed some cuddle time.
Things are looking up, my foster mom is so glad that I gained 5 pounds in 2 weeks. I also have been really wanting to play with my foster sister but because of my injections for heartworm I am not allowed to do any physical activity (so hard when you just 3 years old). All of the medicine must be working because I am starting to feel and look so much better, but I still have more injections, neuter and mass removal. So many more trips to the vet, if you could help a boy out by donating to the Buddy Fund to help with my medical expenses I would be eternally grateful!
My foster parents keep saying I am a good boy and I am really working on getting healthy, so that I can have a forever home of my very own someday soon!
Love, Charlie
