Adopted!!!
Captain is the perfect combination of play and cuddle! He has enjoyed spending time with my husband and I, feeding well on the praise when he does something right. But he also takes all of the opportunities he can get to play with our 2 other dogs (Labradoodle and a chihuahua). He finds joy in following Mak around the yard to see what he can learn, as well as running around like a wild man! Even though he is young, he is picking up on all of the things we teach him! Captain would do great in a home with other dogs, or as an only dog. He is smart (too much so for his own good) and could make a great hunter with the person to show him the ropes. Having been with us for only a week, he fell into routine well, and has embraced the life of a house dog!We are working on crate training and house breaking, is good with kids and other dogs, but haven’t been able to try him with cats at all.If you are interested in Captain, please fill out theadoption application and mention his name and ID # AKC papers will be mailed to the new owner from the breeder. Captain has had his 2nd round of vaccines and worming. Will still need his 3rd set of vaccines and rabies. His adoption fee is $375.00 with a $350.00 spay/neuter deposit which will be refunded once proof is received of the procedure.History: Captain came from a breeder whose husband fell very ill and was hospitalized. She did not have the help she needed to care for the pups so rescue was contacted.
