Cappy (who now answers to Poppy) is a (almost) 3-year-old female CH Brittany. She weighs 37 pounds and is an independent and extremely agile Brittany. Poppy enjoys running outdoors and is looking for her forever home with a a big yard with lots of opportunity to nose around. Poppy is very smart and highly-focused. She loves training and her dream family would continue with obedience to develop their skills along with Poppy’s. Poppy would enjoy agility and other activities which would challenge her both mentally and physically. She is easy to train and is eager to please her humans. She is also crate trained and ins comfortable taking time outs in her crate. She loves chew toys and manages to convince her foster siblings to give them theirs. She loves to play and chase them. Sometimes her energy is a bit much inside. WE ARE REQUIRING A MEET AND GREET PRIOR TO ADOPTION. Poppy has exhibited some reactive behavior, is so much better, but she would benefit from learning to manage triggers. Time, understanding and patience will be necessary for Poppy to acclimate to new surroundings, humans and other pets. Poppy is trained on an invisible fence, she will need a home with an invisible fence (& training) or a physical fence that is 6ft or higher due to her agility and exercise needs. She is good with people and loves their attention. Poppy was not socialized as a pup and needs slow introductions with other dogs and is not respectful of felines. Poppy is cautious around children and does not do well in chaotic situations. She would do best in a household who understand her requirements and would allow her to settle in and become comfortable.Poppy is up to date on vaccinations, HW tested, on preventative and micro chipped.
