back!!! This business of living in a house and having a dog door and fenced
yard and doggie buddies and having someone who likes to pet me for ages and
ages is SO COOL!Hi, I’m
Buster and I’m almost 8 years old.I
came to Ohio with my littermate J.J. from Illinois. It was a long trip and I was
a very good traveler.I lived outside my
whole life and now I live inside and I have my own crate with a soft bed and
blankets. I have four new foster
siblings and we run in and out of the dog door to check on squirrels and watch
the trains go by.When I know it’s time
to eat or get a doggie treat, I go into my crate. I love to be halfway onto the
sofa or recliner so someone can pet me and say my name over and over.My tail wags a lot when I hear my name.I’m really
new at this “command” thing, but I’m learning.I have been caught taking towels off the counter and pulling them
apart.Oops!I am happy to rest in my crate when my foster
parents go away for a couple of hours. My foster
mom says I have a curious and happy soul.I was thinking about living in a castle, but what I really want is a
home where I don’t have to share the attention with quite so many other dogs,
with someone eager to teach me all the things that I haven’t been taught so
far. I do catch on really fast. It would be cool if I didn’t have to be alone
for long periods of time.I like meeting
new people, but haven’t had a lot of practice with meeting other dogs yet. I
don’t know what a cat is.Please no
sight unseen adoptions for this guy. We feel it is important for all
family members (humans and canine) meet to make sure we have a good fit.
If you are interested in Buster please complete theadoption application.Buster is of 10 dogs surrendered to ABR in January 2020 after their owner
unexpectedly died. All were living in outdoor runs with barrels as
shelter. The family notified ABR and we took all into rescue. This sweet boy is
current on all vaccinations, neutered, heart worm negative and on prevention
medications.He also has been microchipped.
