Dog Story: Buster hopes to be in his furever home by his 5th birthday on August 7th. He is a loveable, energetic French Brittany mix. He is an owner surrender to ABR as his human mom passed away and Dad is not able to care for Buster as Dad has his own medical issues. Buster lived on a farm and was outside day and night. Once mom passed away Buster kept escaping the four foot fence to look for her. Luck for him the neighbors were vigilant in getting Buster home and back to safety. They knew it was just a matter of time before this sweet boy met his fate out running the roads and trespassing on others property and contacted ABR. Since Buster can escape a 4 foot fence with the greatest of ease we will be looking for a higher fence for him to keep him safe! Buster still loves to be outside but really enjoys the new comforts of his foster home. He sleeps inside on a doggy bed at night and does not make a peep. He is crate trained and goes in with the word coupe and a treat. He likes to play with toys and even tosses them around by himself. He likes to hang with his people inside or out. He loves when his foster Dad works from home, laying by him while he works patiently awaiting some Buster time or lovin. He doesn’t beg and has been living as an indoor dog only two weeks and has learned the ropes and his foster parent’s routines. So he is a quick learner and eager to please. Buster is 50 lbs and he is strong so we he would do best with older children as he may knock a little one down unintentionally. This smiley boy is waiting patiently for his new forever home could that be you? If so please fill out the online adoption application and mention Buster! History: Buster is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and heartworm negative.
