He is a bit fearful of new people and is slow to trust and territorial of his area. He expresses his fear with his tiny mouth and speed so no fingers in his crate please. Luckily he weighs less than 10 lbs. as he is a spaniel terrier cross. Food is a great motivator for him howeverBurt can be food aggressive. It is best right now if he is in his crate for meals and marrow bone time. He doesn’t do well with small children. Burt does warms up to his new friends quickly with treats. He is very smart and trainable as he learned the doggy flap in an hour. Burt needs a home willing to invest time and training with him so he can become the sweet loveable little dog he is destined to be!
