Hi, I’m Buns, because around Easter Bunny time I started my journey to a new life in rescue, living the dream now in Florida!  I’ve tried on other names like “Hans” and “Goose”, because I will be someone’s copilot!  I just want to love everyone, cuddle and be the center of attention.  I’m a busy, active Brittany puppy ready to explore the world with a family that can guide me to being the best boy.  If you’re up for all the energy I have to share, send in the adoption application and get in touch with my folks!

Foster Family here – Whatever nickname he’s called, Buns is a cutie!  Buns and his littermates were dumped in the woods several months ago after a breeder was unable to sell all the puppies.  The folks who took them in realized these baby bird dogs would need homes experienced with raising young Brittanys and contacted ABR.  Buns very much wants to be with his people and is learning all kinds of new things.  He’s playful, curious and the sweetest boy.  He has made great strides and is gaining confidence with his Brittany foster siblings showing the ropes.  Buns is starting his puppy and manners training and is very smart and eager to please.  Learning quiet time in the crate can be hard wanting to be next to his humans but he’s learning it’s a safe cozy den.  Buns is working on housetraining so careful supervision is important while he masters the art of the yard!  This sweetie will need a patient and even keeled family as he wants so much love and attention, and maybe a dog brother/sister to show him the ropes.  Lots of hugs, gentle guidance and people able to spend plenty of time raising a young Brittany will be his perfect place in the sun!
