Adopted!!!
Dog Story:
Buddy is a handsome boy who really lives up to his name, eager to be friends with everyone he meets. This big Britt is a charmer who will take all the attention you can give him. He has quickly grown to love and trust his people, gets along well with other dogs, and has taken an avid interest in the resident cat (although the feelings aren’t mutual quite yet). His favorite game is tug of war, and he will never say no to a walk or run. He stands patiently during brushing and baths, is well behaved at the dog park and the vet (great report with no health problems), and has had no accidents in the house. Buddy seems very birdy, with good instincts although he has had no hunting experience. He’s not scared of storms or loud noises. He is crated at night and when home alone.
Buddy understands sit and down very well, and is making progress on stay. Heel is not yet in his vocabulary and at 60 pounds can be a challenge during walks or runs. A harness is recommended, and a couple of walks a day help him burn off his abundant energy. Buddy is not a barker, unless you bark first, or haven’t noticed him waiting patiently at the door to be let in! This boy loves to run, and would do well in a roomy, fenced in yard. Bad habits? Well, a little counter surfing has gotten him a few scoldings. He has also mistaken a couple of household items for his chew toys, but that has encouraged the family to pick up after themselves, so is that really a bad habit? Buddy will be a special and devoted companion in a home where he gets plenty of love and attention.
