Dog Story: Meet Buddy. His sister Maggie is his best friend. They are currently living with their family who will no longer be able to care for them when they move. Maggie and Buddy have been mostly outdoor dogs, spending the days in their family’s fenced yard and the evenings on the screened porch, where they have kennels to sleep in. They are playful and friendly and would be good companions (if they end up staying together) for an active family. When they are indoors on the porch, they do not mess and wait to go outside. Even though they have not had a traditional home life, our experience is that having a warm, safe, loving environment is very welcome and they adapt well. Buddy’s current family is looking for a new home for him, and his sister Maggie. They would prefer to keep them together, but time constraints may dictate whether or not they can.
