Hi my name is Buddy and I’m looking for a new place to unpack my bones forever. You see the hooman that I love had to move into assisted-living where dogs are not allowed who would want to live there? I’m 9 years old, in dog years thats.9 years old. It also means I’m past all that silly stuff, I don’t chew up things, I can be left alone in the house, I get along with cats, other dogs and kids. My person went through obedience school so I have good manners, I like to play ball I have a whole box of my own that I got to bring with me. I will get my leash if you tell me it’s time for a walk however in typical Brittany fashion I will take you for a drag down the street. At night I like to sleep in my bed right next to your bed. I’m used to having the run of the house and know how to use the dog door. My person was a man and I really like men but I could open my heart to any person that would open their heart to me. Buddy was an owner surrender who had him since he was just a little pup. Sadly the owner went into assisted living where Buddy couldn’t follow, the owner did what he thought was best by allowing ABR help Buddy find a new forever home. Buddy has always had the best veterinary care and is up-to-date on all shots. Buddy gets along with cats, dogs and kids although he doesn’t like to have his tail pulled yes he has a tail. The owner stated he is a Brittany-mix however it’s hard to see where there is anything but Brittany in this dog. Buddy loves to go for car rides, walks, sits up, plays fetch, will get his leash, has excellent manners and went through basic obedience as a puppy he will even go get your socks! Not kidding. Buddy came into ABR on the portly side, he will need some help getting to a healthy weight.
